Clean Architecture with ASP.NET Core 7

In this workshop, you will learn how to organize your code to support a modular, testable, and maintainable design. You'll apply the principles of Clean Architecture (aka Onion Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Ports and Adapters) to not one but several small solutions that will form an event-driven distributed application. This workshop uses the latest version of .NET, ASP.NET Core, and C#. Along the way you will learn architectural principles, Domain-Driven Design patterns, and distributed architecture best practices. The finished application will include web APIs, messaging using RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus, distributed structured logging, and more. Attendees will receive notes as well as all source code used in the workshop.

Prerequisites:

  • Laptop with dev tools of choice
  • Familiar with ASP.NET Core and C#
  • .NET 7 SDK
