Hack the Bank is an interactive training where participants learn to think and act like hackers, focusing on recognizing and exploiting vulnerabilities based on the OWASP-10. This immersive training is divided into two parts. Firstly, participants will individually and online delve into The Rabbit Hole, where they learn the crucial theory about common software vulnerabilities essential for writing secure code.
After completing this online course, participants physically gather in our hacker basement in Utrecht for an immersive practical exam. Here they'll delve deep into hacker culture. In pairs, they are tasked with hacking a virtual bank, tracing vulnerabilities, and exploiting them to secure data - and money. As they progress in the game, these vulnerabilities become increasingly subtle. The duo that manages to steal the most money in the shortest amount of time wins.
